Mana J Memorial Rally 2022
After having to be postponed earlier in the year owing to the economic crisis in the country, the highly anticipated Maja J Memorial Rally took place on the 27th of November, much to the delight of all club members.
The annual event commenced at 7.30am from Nawam Mawatha with a line-up of over 40 classics taking part. The route took participants in and around the city and inner suburbs where they had to follow route instructions, answer questions and keep their eyes peeled for check points on route, all while ensuring to stick to the overall time limit of 1hr 45mins. The check points involved some fun challenges such as drinking a king coconut in the quickest time, blowing a balloon till it pops and flipping coins.
The rally ended at Cinnamon Lakeside hotel where the cars were on display in the main car park and members got a chance to cool down swap stories and were treated to a scrumptious brunch buffet while the results were tabulated.
