CCCC Quiz Challenge & Driving Hope Launch
After a long break from events, the club organized a Fun Quiz Challenge for members on the 17th of September 2022, at Jetwing Colombo 7.
The event was well attended with all participants enjoying the company of each other, with many smiles and much laughter. With questions ranging from motorsports to general knowledge and even music, quiz master Sam Smith ensured that it was a fun quiz that brought out the competitive spirit in everyone. It was so competitive in fact that we ended up having a tie for first place! The winner was eventually decided via a tiebreaker question.
The winners were ‘Team Drunk Drivers Inc’, followed closely in 2nd place went to ‘Team White Corolla’s’ and in 3rd place were ‘Team Oil Patch’.
The club also launched its new Charity and CSR initiative during the event. ‘Driving Hope’ is the brand under which all future community outreach programs by the CCCC will be conducted.
When considering the current financial crisis which has affected each and every one in some way shape or form, the first initiative by the club will be to distribute dry ration packs to needy families in order
to provide them with some relief during these trying times.
